RRB Group D CBT 1 Exam Date Announced for August 3-21

RRB Group D CBT 1 exam scheduled from August 3 to 21.

The Railway Recruitment Board has announced the examination schedule for the RRB Group D Computer-Based Test 1 for 2026. According to the official schedule, the examination will be conducted from August 3 to August 21 at multiple centres across India. Lakhs of candidates who have applied for 22,195 Group D vacancies can now begin the final stage of their preparation.

The RRB Group D CBT 1 will be held in three shifts each day throughout the examination period. The first shift will begin at 9 am, with candidates required to report by 7:30 am. The second shift is scheduled for 12:45 pm, with an 11:15 am reporting time, while the third shift will begin at 4:30 pm and candidates must report by 3 pm.

Candidates have been advised to reach their allotted examination centres well before the reporting time mentioned for their respective shifts. Entry may not be permitted after the examination centre gates are closed. Applicants should carefully check all instructions mentioned on their admit cards and carry the required documents to avoid any difficulties on the day of the test.

The board has also provided the expected schedule for the release of city intimation slips and admit cards. Candidates scheduled to appear for the examination on August 3 are expected to receive their city intimation slips from July 25. The slip will provide details about the city where the candidate’s examination centre has been allotted.

The RRB Group D admit card for candidates appearing from August 3 is expected to be released from July 31 onwards. Similar timelines are likely to be followed for candidates appearing on subsequent examination dates. The city intimation slip and admit card will be made available separately, and candidates should download both documents well before their scheduled examination.

The city intimation slip is intended to help candidates plan their travel and accommodation, while the admit card is mandatory for entry into the examination centre. Applicants should regularly check the official Railway Recruitment Board websites for updates related to their examination date, city slip and admit card. Candidates should also verify all details on the documents immediately after downloading them.
