Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma visits Ajmer village, announces health upgrade and reviews rural welfare schemes.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Monday visited Kadel village in Ajmer district and interacted directly with residents as part of the state government’s outreach initiative aimed at strengthening participatory governance. The Chief Minister began his day with a morning walk through the village lanes, meeting people at their doorsteps in an informal and interactive setting. The visit came a day after he attended a Gram Chaupal in the same village, continuing his engagement with rural communities.

During his walk, Sharma met a wide cross-section of villagers, including farmers, women, youth, livestock rearers, sanitation workers, and local vendors. He sought feedback on the implementation of various state welfare schemes and listened to concerns related to basic services and development needs. Residents reportedly welcomed the interaction warmly, with many expressing appreciation for the Chief Minister’s direct outreach at the village level.

The Chief Minister also spent time interacting with children in the village, inquiring about their education and well-being, and distributing chocolates as a gesture of encouragement. He visited the ancient Lord Sheshnag Temple in Kadel, where he offered prayers seeking prosperity and well-being for the people of Rajasthan. He directed officials to address pending revenue matters and instructed the organisation of special camps for the timely resolution of disputes. Sharma also announced the upgradation of the village Primary Health Centre into a Community Health Centre, along with improved transport connectivity through additional bus services and the construction of a boundary wall for the girls’ school.

The visit was attended by Water Resources Minister Suresh Singh Rawat, local public representatives, administrative officials, and a large gathering of villagers. Officials described the outreach as part of the government’s broader effort to ensure responsive administration and direct communication with rural populations. The engagement left a strong impression on residents, many of whom highlighted the informal and accessible nature of the Chief Minister’s interaction.
