He emphasized that a growing realization among the people highlights the central government’s consistent efforts toward the state’s progress over recent years.
Modi flagged off three Amrit Bharat Express trains along with a new Thrissur-Guruvayur passenger service. He stated that the projects would help transform Thiruvananthapuram into a major national hub.
Among other launches, the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone for the CSIR-NIIST Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship Hub and inaugurated a state-of-the-art Radiosurgery Centre at the Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology. He also opened the new Poojappura Head Post Office. Additionally, Modi introduced the PM SVANidhi Credit Card—a UPI-linked, interest-free revolving credit facility—and disbursed loans and cards to beneficiaries under the PM SVANidhi scheme aimed at supporting street vendors and small entrepreneurs.
