Noida Car Crash Kills Delhi Woman, Two Injured in Early Morning Accident
31-year-old woman dies after Skoda car rams divider in Noida due to overspeeding.
A late-night car accident in Noida claimed the life of a 31-year-old woman and left two others seriously injured in the early hours of Thursday, police officials said. The crash occurred around 1 am near Sector 71, sending shockwaves through the local community and raising concerns over nighttime road safety.
According to police, the Skoda sedan was travelling from Delhi towards Gaur City when it went out of control near a U-turn and rammed into the central divider. Preliminary investigation suggests overspeeding and low visibility as the primary causes of the accident. Officials confirmed that no other vehicle was involved in the crash.
The deceased was identified as Gulfisha, a 31-year-old Delhi resident originally from Bareilly. The injured victims, Murtaza Abbas (31) and Anushka Chaudhary (27), both residents of Delhi, were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. Gulfisha was declared dead on arrival, while the injured were admitted to the ICU and later referred to another hospital for advanced treatment.

Police said Murtaza Abbas was driving the car at the time of the accident and lost control due to excessive speed under poor visibility conditions. Station House Officer Vidhiyanchal Tiwari of Phase-3 police station confirmed that all three occupants were employees of a Delhi-based bank and were returning from an office gathering.
A senior police official stated that a mobile police patrol vehicle on night duty was nearby and reached the accident site shortly after the crash. Emergency response teams acted swiftly to clear the area and assist the victims, preventing further traffic disruption on the stretch.
Inquest proceedings have been completed, and Gulfisha’s body has been sent for post-mortem examination. Police said no case has been registered so far, and further action will be taken based on the post-mortem report and findings of the investigation.
