Middle East Flight Chaos: EaseMyTrip Offers Charter Options for Indian Passengers
EaseMyTrip plans charter flights and travel support for Indians stranded in the Middle East.
Amid ongoing disruptions to air travel across the Middle East, EaseMyTrip has announced support measures for Indian citizens stranded in Gulf countries. The disruptions, caused by widespread flight cancellations and airspace closures linked to the war in Iran, have left many passengers unable to return home. The company’s intervention aims to facilitate safe travel for affected travellers.
In a post on X, founder Nishant Pitti stated that the company is planning charter flights to help stranded passengers return to India. He advised travellers to access verified updates and travel support through the “Travel Assistance for Indians in UAE” WhatsApp channel. The initiative is intended to ensure smooth communication and coordination amid the ongoing disruption.
Pitti added that charter flights are currently being planned from Oman to India. He encouraged those in need of assistance to join the WhatsApp channel and share the information widely with fellow travellers. The company emphasized verified updates as a way to avoid confusion and misinformation during the crisis.
