Major ISIS ISI Terror Plot Averted! Punjab Police Seize Deadly Arsenal
Punjab Police Strike Blow Against ISI Terror Plot, Seize Deadly Arsenal
In a decisive strike against Pakistan’s ISI-backed terror networks, Punjab Police, in collaboration with a central agency, uncovered a dangerous cache of terrorist hardware in a forested area near Tibba Nangal-Kular road, SBS Nagar district.
The intelligence-led operation, announced by Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav on Tuesday, marks a significant breakthrough in dismantling cross-border terror infrastructure.
The seizure included two rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs), two improvised explosive devices (IEDs), five P-86 hand grenades, and a wireless communication set, signaling a sophisticated plot to destabilize the region.

DGP Yadav revealed that initial investigations point to a coordinated effort by Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and allied terror groups to reactivate sleeper cells in Punjab, threatening national security.
A First Information Report (FIR) has been filed at the State Special Operation Cell (SSOC) in Amritsar under relevant legal provisions. “Punjab Police remains steadfast in its commitment to neutralize terror threats and safeguard the state,” Yadav stated on X.
This operation follows another recent success by Amritsar Rural Police, who arrested two individuals, Falaksher Masih and Suraj Masih, on Sunday for leaking sensitive military intelligence to Pakistani operatives.
The duo, linked to a jailed associate, Harpreet Singh, were transmitting details about Army movements and BSF camps. Charged under the Official Secrets Act and other laws, they are under interrogation to unravel the full extent of the espionage network. These back-to-back operations underscore Punjab Police’s relentless efforts to counter ISI-orchestrated threats.
