Instagram Post after Death Deepens Mystery Around Sadhvi Prem Baisa's Sudden Death in Ashram

The mysterious death of 25-year-old religious preacher Sadhvi Prem Baisa at her ashram in Boranada near Jodhpur has sparked widespread concern and demands for a thorough investigation. On January 28, 2026, the prominent kathavachak (storyteller of religious discourses) reportedly suffered a sudden collapse after receiving an injection for a fever from a compounder called to the ashram. Her father, Veeram Nath—who is also described as her spiritual guide—rushed her to a private hospital in Jodhpur, where doctors declared her brought dead around 5:30 pm. The family initially resisted a post-mortem at a government facility but later handed over the body to MDM Hospital for examination by a medical board.

Followers and devotees have raised suspicions over the circumstances, particularly the administration of the injection and the rapid deterioration of her health. Reports indicate she had been unwell with fever for a couple of days prior. Police have launched an investigation, examining medical records, witness statements, and the sequence of events, while the case has drawn political attention. Rashtriya Loktantrik Party leader Hanuman Beniwal has called for a CBI probe, describing the death as occurring under suspicious circumstances amid growing public outrage and protests at the ashram.

The mystery deepened significantly with a post that appeared on Sadhvi Prem Baisa's verified Instagram account around 9:30 pm—nearly four hours after her declared death. The lengthy caption, which many interpreted as a suicide note or farewell message, reflected on her lifelong dedication to propagating Sanatan Dharma, blessings from spiritual leaders, and repeated requests for an "agnipariksha" (trial by fire) to prove her innocence. It concluded with expressions of faith in divine justice, stating she was bidding farewell to the world and believed justice would come, if not in life, then after death. Authorities are probing whether the post was pre-scheduled, posted by someone else, or indicative of prior intent.
