IAF Surya Kiran Team Dazzles Crowd At Hisar Air Show

The Indian Air Force’s Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team (SKAT) captivated thousands at the Maharaja Agrasen Airport Complex on Sunday, delivering a breathtaking display of precision and skill during Hisar’s inaugural air show. The event, part of the IAF’s “Know Your Forces” initiative under the Sapta Shakti Command, drew a diverse crowd, including residents from Hisar and nearby districts, Army personnel, their families, National Cadet Corps cadets, and students from Army Public School.
Performing with nine BAE Hawk Mk.132 jets, the Surya Kiran team executed intricate maneuvers and painted the sky with tricolor smoke trails, showcasing their signature artistry. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, the chief guest, praised the event as a source of inspiration for youth, highlighting its message of discipline, teamwork, and patriotism. “Each feat reflects the IAF’s motto, ‘Sadaiva Sarvottam’ (always the best),” Saini said, expressing confidence that the display would motivate young Indians to take pride in the nation’s armed forces.
Saini also underscored the Indian Air Force’s critical role in national security, noting enhancements under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, including the induction of advanced aircraft like Rafale, Sukhoi, and Tejas. He lauded the IAF’s global recognition earned during Operation Sindoor, emphasizing the capability of Indian pilots to counter any threat.

The air show, a historic milestone for Hisar, fostered stronger civilian-military bonds and sparked enthusiasm among attendees.
