GGSIPU Extends CET 2026 Last Date to April 11 After Student Requests for More Time

GGSIPU extends the CET 2026 application deadline to April 11 following requests from prospective applicants.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has extended the deadline for submitting online application forms for admissions to various programmes for the 2026 academic session. As per an official notification issued on March 31, candidates can now complete their applications until April 11, providing additional time for those who were unable to meet the earlier deadline.

The extension applies to admissions through Common Entrance Tests (CET) and national-level entrance exams, as well as merit-based programmes. Previously, the last date for submission of applications was March 31, but the university revised the schedule following multiple requests from prospective students seeking more time to complete the registration process.

The university clarified that the decision was taken in response to concerns raised by applicants facing difficulties in meeting the original timeline. By extending the deadline, GGSIPU aims to ensure that a larger number of eligible candidates can participate in the admission process without being disadvantaged due to time constraints.

Admissions are being conducted through the university’s official online portals, where candidates can register and submit their application forms. The process covers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional courses offered by the university and its affiliated institutes across different disciplines.

Applicants are advised to carefully review the eligibility criteria, required documents, and course-specific requirements before completing their registration. The university has also urged candidates to avoid last-minute submissions to prevent technical issues or delays during the application process.

With the revised deadline now set for April 11, aspiring students have an extended window to apply, ensuring better access to one of Delhi’s prominent higher education institutions and its diverse academic programmes.
