Delhi CM Meets BJP President Nitin Nabin To Review Welfare And Development Plans
Delhi CM met BJP President Nitin Nabin to discuss welfare schemes and Delhi development priorities.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta met Bharatiya Janata Party National President Nitin Nabin on Friday to discuss the implementation of public welfare schemes and organisational matters, according to party sources. The meeting was described as a courtesy interaction focused on governance priorities and the broader development agenda for the national capital.
Following the meeting, Chief Minister Gupta shared details of the interaction on social media, stating that she had called on the BJP national president and received guidance on key governance issues. She noted that the discussions focused on the all-round development of Delhi, effective execution of welfare programmes, and organisational coordination within the party structure.
Gupta described the meeting as cordial and said she appreciated the inputs provided during the discussion. She also reiterated that improving public services and ensuring citizen welfare remain the government’s top priorities, adding that her administration is working with commitment and dedication to achieve these objectives.

Separately during the day, the Chief Minister attended the launch of a series of programmes scheduled to run until April 14, organised to commemorate the 136th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar. The events are being planned across multiple locations in Delhi to highlight his life, philosophy, and contributions to the nation.
Delhi Minister for Social Welfare and SC/ST/OBC Welfare Ravinder Indraj Singh also announced key features of the commemorative celebrations, including the “Bhim Jyoti Utsav” near India Gate in the Kasturba Gandhi Marg area. The event will feature exhibitions, literary displays, cultural programmes, and interactive sessions focused on Dr Ambedkar’s life and ideas.
Officials said the celebrations aim to promote awareness of Dr Ambedkar’s teachings and foster social harmony. The programme will include participation from scholars, social workers, and cultural representatives from across the country, highlighting themes of unity, constitutional values, and national integration.
