Bomb Scare Grips Three Delhi Schools
Delhi schools targeted by bomb threat emails
Three Delhi schools were thrown into chaos on Monday morning after receiving bomb threat emails, prompting swift action from authorities. The targeted schools—CRPF Public Schools in Prashant Vihar and Dwarka Sector 16, and Navy Children School in Chanakyapuri—received the threats around 8 am, according to a Delhi Police official.
“Police teams, bomb disposal squads, and sniffer dogs were immediately deployed to sanitize the premises,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka) Ankit Singh. No suspicious items have been found so far, but security has been heightened at all three locations. Cyber police are investigating the source of the threatening emails, which follow a pattern of similar hoaxes targeting schools and airlines in recent months.
The incident, coming months after a blast near a CRPF school in Rohini, has heightened concerns, though authorities urge calm as investigations continue.
