BJP Mahila Morcha Marks Raksha Bandhan With Party Chief Nitin Nabin

BJP Mahila Morcha workers celebrated Raksha Bandhan with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Nitin Nabin at his residence in the national capital on Friday. The workers tied rakhis to Nabin as part of the festival celebrations, marking the occasion with a message of trust, affection and solidarity.

Nabin later shared a post on X about the celebration, expressing gratitude to the Mahila Morcha workers who tied rakhis at his New Delhi residence. He described the gesture as a symbol of trust and affection. The BJP chief also extended greetings to citizens on the occasion and emphasised the values associated with Raksha Bandhan.

Earlier in the day, Nabin celebrated the festival with his sisters. In another post on X, he described receiving rakhi from his sisters as a special occasion and conveyed his greetings to people celebrating the festival across the country. Raksha Bandhan is traditionally observed by sisters tying a sacred thread around their brothers' wrists.

Nabin's Raksha Bandhan celebrations with BJP Mahila Morcha workers came alongside several other public celebrations across the national capital. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also marked the festival at his residence at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg, where he interacted with schoolchildren and exchanged greetings and high-fives with them.

Raksha Bandhan is being celebrated across India on Friday, with people observing the festival according to family and regional traditions.
