PM Modi Is a “Phenomenal and Charismatic Leader,” Says Polish Secretary of State

Polish Secretary of State praises PM Modi as a charismatic and phenomenal leader, saying India is lucky to have him.

Visiting Polish Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Wladyslaw Bartoszewski, has praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, calling him a “very charismatic” and “phenomenal leader.” Speaking during his visit to New Delhi, Bartoszewski said India is fortunate to have PM Modi guiding the country at a time of rapid global change.

In an exclusive interview with IANS, Bartoszewski said that Prime Minister Modi has transformed India with a bold and ambitious vision. He noted that India’s steady economic rise and growing global influence reflect the strong leadership and direction provided by the Prime Minister over the past decade.

The Polish leader also shared personal impressions of PM Modi, describing him as charming and approachable. He said Modi’s repeated electoral victories demonstrate the trust placed in him by the Indian people, adding that India’s position as the world’s fourth-largest economy shows the country is moving firmly in the right direction.

Highlighting bilateral relations, Bartoszewski said ties between India and Poland are on an upward trajectory. He recalled the signing of a strategic partnership agreement during PM Modi’s visit to Warsaw in 2024, the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister in 45 years, calling it a milestone in relations.

He said both nations are expanding cooperation across defence, digital industries, security, IT investment, space, and high technology. These discussions were reviewed during his meeting with MEA Secretary (West) Sibi George, where key deliverables under the 2024–2028 Joint Action Plan were discussed.

Bartoszewski also outlined upcoming high-level visits, including Polish ministers visiting India and a planned visit by Poland’s Prime Minister later this year. Emphasising the future potential of ties, he said cooperation across business, politics, and security continues to grow, describing the India-Poland partnership as one with limitless possibilities.
