Suresh attended the event as a member of the Wake Forest University men’s tennis team, which recently secured a major national title. The recognition placed him among several standout athletes acknowledged by the US President.
The Wake Forest Demon Deacons men’s tennis team won the 2025 NCAA Division I championship after a strong postseason campaign. The team defeated the TCU Horned Frogs 4-2 in the final match, securing their second national championship title in program history. The victory was the result of consistent performances from multiple players throughout the season. Suresh played a significant role in the team’s success, contributing crucial points during key matches. The championship win further strengthened Wake Forest’s reputation as one of the top collegiate tennis programs in the United States.
