Police Probe Finds Siya Goyal Avoided Eloping Over Family Reputation Concerns

The investigation into the death of Pune businessman Ketan Agarwal has uncovered what police describe as a chilling motive behind the alleged murder plot, with investigators claiming that concerns over family reputation played a key role in the decisions made by the accused. According to police, Siya Goyal and her alleged boyfriend, Chetan Chaudhary, discussed the possibility of being together but ultimately rejected the idea of calling off her engagement or eloping because of fears that such a move would bring shame to her family.

Ketan Agarwal, 25, had been engaged to Siya Goyal, 20, and preparations were reportedly underway for their wedding.
