Masked Men Rob Noida Cyber Cafe at Gunpoint, Steal Rs 80,000

Two masked men allegedly robbed a cyber cafe in Malkpur village, Greater Noida, after entering the premises with a pistol and threatening an employee before fleeing with Rs 80,000 in cash. The incident was captured on CCTV and took place while the cafe owner, Mohit, a native of Aligarh, had stepped away for lunch. Mohit lived in rented accommodation nearby and had left a young employee, identified as Usman, in charge of the shop during his absence. The suspects arrived on a motorcycle with their faces covered and entered the cafe while Usman was alone.

According to the CCTV footage, one of the men pointed a pistol at Usman while the other moved towards a rack inside the shop. The second suspect allegedly slapped the employee and opened the rack before taking the Rs 80,000 kept inside. Usman attempted to move outside as the robbers prepared to leave, but one of the men reportedly returned and threatened to shoot him if he raised an alarm. The two suspects then left the premises on their motorcycle with the cash.

After the men fled, Usman alerted people nearby and police reached the cafe. A forensic team also visited the scene and collected evidence as part of the investigation. Police said the stolen money had been brought to the cafe by Mohit shortly before the robbery. According to the Station House Officer, Mohit also assists customers with depositing cash into their bank accounts through the cyber cafe and had withdrawn or collected the Rs 80,000 from a bank before returning to the shop.

Investigators are examining whether the robbery was specifically planned after the suspects followed Mohit from the bank or obtained information that he was carrying a large amount of cash. Police teams are analysing CCTV footage from the cafe and surrounding areas to trace the suspects’ movements and identify their motorcycle and route of escape. Senior police officials have formed four teams to locate and arrest the accused, while forensic evidence and the cash trail are also being examined to establish how the robbery was planned and whether the suspects had prior information about the money.
