A 30-year-old Indian student from Haryana was fatally stabbed in Worcester, United Kingdom, on November 25, according to a statement by West Mercia Police. Vijay Kumar Sheoran of Charkhi Dadri was found with life-threatening injuries on Barbourne Road and was immediately taken to hospital, where he later succumbed to his wounds. Vijay hailed from Jagrambas village in Haryana’s Charkhi Dadri district and had reportedly left a government position with the Central Board of Excise and Customs earlier this year to pursue higher studies in the UK. He was enrolled at the University of the West of England (UWE) in Bristol. Authorities have not independently verified these details, but his family is calling for urgent support and a thorough inquiry into the incident.

West Mercia Police confirmed arrests of five individuals aged between 22 and 35 on suspicion of attempted murder, and a sixth man was arrested on suspicion of murder but released without charges. The police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the stabbing, appealing for any witnesses or information that could help solve the case.
