#BreakingNews: Man Fatally Stabbed in Dombivli Hotel After Minor Dispute
What began as a minor altercation turned deadly in a Dombivli hotel, leaving one man dead and two injured.
A shocking incident unfolded in Thane district’s Dombivli area on Sunday when a 38-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death following a minor argument at a local hotel. The incident occurred in the early hours at a hotel situated in the MIDC Phase 1 locality, under the jurisdiction of Manpada police station.
According to police officials, the victim, identified as Akash Bhanu Singh, was dining with his friends when he accidentally brushed against another individual, leading to a heated exchange of words. The situation quickly escalated into violence, and the accused, along with several others, attacked Singh with knives, fatally stabbing him.
Two of Singh’s friends, who attempted to intervene and rescue him, were also injured in the assault. They were immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment. Police said the attack took place so swiftly that other patrons in the hotel were left stunned and unable to react in time.

A case has been registered against four individuals under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) pertaining to murder and assault. As of now, no arrests have been made, but a manhunt has been launched to track down those involved. The police have obtained CCTV footage from the hotel premises and are interrogating witnesses to identify all the accused.
Authorities have also increased patrolling in the MIDC area following the incident to prevent any further disturbances. Officials described the incident as both tragic and senseless, emphasizing that a minor altercation should never have led to such a brutal outcome. Investigations are ongoing.
