MrBeast's Beast Industries Launches Creator Platform Amid Major Hiring Push

Beast Industries expands beyond YouTube with a creator-brand sponsorship matching platform.

Beast Industries, the company founded by popular YouTube creator Jimmy Donaldson, widely known as MrBeast, is undertaking a significant hiring drive as it accelerates efforts to expand beyond its core content business and develop a new platform focused on connecting creators with brands. The initiative marks another step in Donaldson’s broader strategy to build a diversified media and technology company that extends well beyond traditional online video production.

According to reports, Beast Industries has brought on board a team from creator-commerce startup Pietra, including its co-founder and chief executive Ronak Trivedi. Trivedi, who previously worked at Uber before launching Pietra, is expected to play a central role in the development of the yet-to-be-named platform. The project is designed to help creators secure sponsorship opportunities by facilitating connections with brands seeking partnerships in the rapidly growing creator economy.

A spokesperson for Beast Industries confirmed the recruitment efforts but did not disclose the exact number of employees involved. The spokesperson described the hiring activity as significant and indicated that the company remains focused on building the new creator-focused platform. Pietra, which helps creators launch consumer product businesses through supplier, design, warehousing and fulfillment partnerships, will continue operations under new leadership following the transition of key personnel.

The company has also strengthened its leadership team by hiring former Google and Uber executive Shiva Rajaraman. In addition, Beast Industries has established a product and engineering office in San Mateo, California, where teams will work on both the upcoming creator platform and a planned membership program. The expansion reflects the company’s increasing investment in technology and creator-focused services.

Donaldson has spent recent years broadening his business interests beyond YouTube content. In addition to his widely viewed videos, he has expanded into merchandise, packaged food products, financial services and has announced plans related to a mobile phone venture. Industry observers note that a platform connecting brands and creators could benefit from the continuing shift of advertising budgets from traditional media channels toward social media influencers and digital creators.

The hiring push comes as Beast Industries continues operating related ventures such as Viewstats, an analytics platform, and Vyro, a clipping service that helps create short-form promotional content from longer videos. Although several employees have reportedly departed those businesses, company representatives said the changes are unrelated to the new platform and that both operations will continue independently. The latest expansion highlights Beast Industries’ ambition to establish itself as a major player in the creator economy beyond content production alone.
