Indian-origin Billionaire Nikesh Arora Hosts High-Profile Wedding at Umaid Bhawan Palace

High-profile guests attend lavish multi-day Jodhpur ceremonies.

Indian-origin billionaire Nikesh Arora is hosting a lavish four-day wedding celebration for his daughter Ayesha Arora, who is set to marry Jack Hughes at the iconic Umaid Bhawan Palace. The high-profile ceremony, scheduled for Saturday, has drawn significant attention due to the scale of the festivities and the presence of prominent national and international guests.

The wedding celebrations began earlier this week with a colourful Holi-themed event held at Bal Samand Palace, followed by a grand sangeet ceremony at the historic Mehrangarh Fort. Multiple luxury venues across the city have been booked as part of the elaborate arrangements, reflecting the opulence typically associated with destination weddings in Rajasthan.

Security has been significantly tightened in and around the event locations, with local authorities deploying additional personnel to manage crowds and ensure smooth movement of VIP guests. Among those expected to attend are Howard Lutnick and Piyush Goyal, highlighting the global profile of the guest list.

Nikesh Arora, currently based in the United States, was born in Ghaziabad and received his early education at The Air Force School in Delhi’s Subroto Park. He later completed his B.Tech from Banaras Hindu University in 1989 before moving to the United States at the age of 21 to pursue higher education and build his corporate career.

Over the years, Arora has emerged as one of the most prominent Indian-origin executives in the global technology and finance sectors. He has held leadership roles at major multinational firms and is widely recognised for his influence in the cybersecurity and investment space, contributing to his billionaire status.

The grand wedding in Jodhpur adds to the growing trend of ultra-luxury destination weddings in Rajasthan’s heritage properties. With high-profile guests arriving and elaborate ceremonies underway, the celebrations are expected to continue to draw attention until the main wedding concludes this weekend.
