The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) is set to announce the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) 2026 results for admissions to engineering programs across participating institutions in Karnataka. Candidates who appeared for the entrance examination conducted on May 9 will be able to access their scorecards through the official COMEDK website once the results are declared on May 26, 2026. The examination authority had earlier released the provisional answer key on May 13, allowing students to review their responses and raise objections within the stipulated period.

According to the official examination schedule, the final answer key for COMEDK UGET 2026 will be published on May 20. The rank cards will subsequently be made available under the applicant login portal after the declaration of results. Candidates are advised to download and retain a printed copy of their scorecards, as the document will be required during the counseling and admission process. COMEDK has stated that the online rank card will serve as an important admission-related document for seat allocation in participating colleges.

COMEDK functions as an autonomous merit determination authority and has been conducting entrance examinations for private engineering institutions in Karnataka for several years. The consortium includes senior academicians and experienced administrative officials associated with the higher education ecosystem. More than 150 engineering colleges in the state currently participate in the COMEDK admission process, which includes a centralized counseling system aimed at streamlining seat allotment for students seeking undergraduate engineering admissions.

The entrance examination offers admission opportunities across a wide range of professional courses and specialized engineering programs. Some of the key courses available through COMEDK UGET include Bachelor of Architecture, Bachelor of Planning, Bachelor of Design, and Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning. Engineering streams offered under the process include aeronautical engineering, artificial intelligence and data science, computer science and technology, civil engineering with computer application, robotics and artificial intelligence, mining engineering, petroleum engineering, and nanotechnology, among others.

Students awaiting the results have been advised to regularly monitor the official website for updates related to scorecards, counselingschedules, and document verification requirements. Candidates will need their login credentials to access the result portal and download the rank card. Education experts have also urged students to keep all necessary academic and identity documents ready ahead of the counselingprocess to avoid last-minute complications during admissions.

The COMEDK UGET examination remains one of the major entrance pathways for students seeking admission to private engineering colleges in Karnataka. With thousands of aspirants appearing every year, the examination plays a crucial role in determining merit-based admissions through a single-window counseling mechanism.
