Switzerland tops the Henley Opportunity Index 2026 with a score of 86 out of 100 points.
In an increasingly competitive global landscape, the Henley Opportunity Index 2026 has identified the top countries offering the best opportunities for professionals, entrepreneurs, and investors. The rankings highlight nations that provide strong career prospects along with high quality of life.
Leading the list for the second consecutive year is Switzerland, which scored 86 out of 100. The country’s top position is attributed to its stable economy, world-class education system, and robust employment opportunities, making it a preferred destination for global talent.
Australia has climbed to the third position this year, overtaking both the United Kingdom and the United States, which now rank fourth. Australia’s rise is credited to its high-ranking universities, strong research ecosystem, and excellent living standards.

Meanwhile, Hong Kong has made notable progress by climbing the rankings to tie with Italy at the 10th position. This reflects its continued importance as a global financial hub despite recent economic challenges.
