Fortis Kalyan’s Code-QRT Empowers First-Line Healthcare Heroes

Training program enhances emergency care skills

Fortis Hospital Kalyan launched its transformative ‘Code-QRT’ Quick Response Training program on Doctors’ Day, July 1, 2025, aiming to equip 75 first-line practitioners in Kalyan-Dombivali with critical diagnostic and emergency care skills. The 15-day clinician-led initiative, led by Dr. Jumana Haji, Dr. Manjeet Singh, Dr. Sudhir Gore, and Dr. Manoj Kumar, focuses on strengthening early medical responses to improve patient outcomes.

The program addresses delays in critical care, as many patients reach tertiary centers in advanced stages. It combines lectures and hands-on training in patient history taking, emergency imaging, ECG interpretation, and effective communication during crises. With over 90 registrations, the pilot batch underscores strong community interest.

Hon. Abhinav Goel, KDMC Municipal Commissioner, praised the initiative, stating, “Code-QRT builds trust and skills, ensuring quality healthcare starts in our communities.” Dr. Ashutosh Pandey, Facility Director, added, “We’re investing in clinicians to ensure timely, accurate care from the first point of contact.”
