Bollywood Star Akshay Kumar Sells Two Borivali Properties For ₹7.1 Crore
Actor completes ₹7.1 crore sale of two flats.
Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has sold two residential apartments in the Oberoi Sky City project in Borivali (East), Mumbai, for a combined value of ₹7.1 crore, according to property registration documents. The transactions were registered on June 2, 2026, and reflect the actor's continued activity in Mumbai's real estate market.
The larger of the two apartments, located on a higher floor, has a carpet area of 1,101 square feet and was sold for ₹5.75 crore. The transaction attracted a stamp duty of ₹28.75 lakh and includes two dedicated car parking spaces. The second apartment, situated on the same floor, has a carpet area of 252 square feet and was sold for ₹1.35 crore, with stamp duty of ₹6.75 lakh and one parking space included in the deal.
Property records show that both units were purchased by Suvarna Rupeshkumar Sakpal. Akshay Kumar had originally acquired the apartments from Incline Realty Pvt Ltd in November 2017. The larger flat was purchased for ₹3 crore, while the smaller unit was bought for ₹67.55 lakh, indicating substantial appreciation in value over the holding period.

Based on the purchase and sale values, the transactions represent significant gains for the actor. The combined acquisition cost of the two properties was approximately ₹3.68 crore, while the sale consideration reached ₹7.1 crore. The appreciation reflects the strong growth witnessed in parts of Mumbai's residential property market over the past several years, particularly in established suburban developments.
Akshay Kumar has been actively monetising some of his real estate investments in recent years. The latest transactions add to a series of property sales linked to the actor, highlighting the increasing interest of high-net-worth individuals and celebrities in capitalising on rising property values. Neither the actor nor the buyer was immediately available for comment regarding the transactions.
