Samay Raina Calls Medha Shankr His "Sabse Accha Dost" Amid Dating Buzz

Comedian Samay Raina and actor Medha Shankr have continued to attract attention amid speculation about their relationship. The two have been spotted together at several events in recent months, prompting dating rumours on social media. Medha recently appeared on an episode of India’s Got Latent Season 2 alongside Varun Dhawan, Nishant Tanwar and Sharon Verma, where Samay referred to her as his “sabse accha dost”, or best friend.

During a magic segment on the show, magician Kabir Sharma took Samay’s phone and placed it inside one of three envelopes. After asking questions to the panel, Kabir asked Samay to identify his closest friend among the guests. Samay immediately chose Medha, who was then asked to select one of the envelopes as part of the trick. The interaction added to the light-hearted exchanges between the comedian and actor during the episode.

Medha was also selected to receive a gift during another part of Kabir’s performance. The possible prizes included a car, a MacBook, $1,000 and an iPhone, but she ended up receiving a hug from the magician. Samay and Varun appeared surprised by the outcome, while Medha said she did not mind the gift. Samay joked that the hug was meant for her, before describing it as the “worst thing” they had won, prompting another playful exchange.

Samay also picked Varun as the smartest member of the panel, joking that he was a “student of the year”. The comedian continued his playful roasting of the actor, including jokes about his upcoming film Border 2. The episode featured several humorous interactions among the guests, with Medha and Samay's exchanges receiving particular attention because of the dating speculation surrounding them.

Rumours about Samay and Medha began after the two were reportedly seen leaving an event together earlier this year. The speculation continued after they were spotted attending other events around the same period and were later seen together at an airport. Their appearances together have led to increased interest among fans, although neither Samay nor Medha has publicly confirmed that they are in a relationship.

Samay's description of Medha as his “sabse accha dost” on the show therefore became another talking point amid the ongoing speculation. While the comment suggests that the two share a close friendship, it does not confirm or deny the dating rumours.
