Harshad Chopda Evicted From Lock Upp After Giving His Spot to Shivangi

Actor Harshad Chopda has been eliminated from the reality show Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa after giving up his place in the finale to save fellow contestant Shivangi Joshi. The unexpected decision came only days before the grand finale, scheduled for Wednesday, August 5, and added another major twist to the closing phase of the competition. Harshad accepted an offer presented by host Riteish Deshmukh that allowed Shivangi to become a finalist in his place, resulting in his immediate exit from the show.

Harshad had earlier become the season’s first finalist during the grand feast task held on Sunday. The task also saw Shreya Kalra receive a special advantage, while contestant Yogesh Rawat won ₹10 lakh. Harshad’s initial decision during the task reportedly upset Shivangi, creating tension between the contestants as the competition approached its conclusion. However, the subsequent opportunity offered by the host gave Harshad a chance to reverse the situation by sacrificing the finale position he had already secured.

The development followed Shreya’s use of an advantage that permitted her to eliminate one contestant from the race. She selected Shivangi, arguing that the actor did not deserve to progress further in the competition at that stage. Shreya linked her decision to an earlier incident in which Shivangi, while serving as a gang leader, had removed her from the group. The choice placed Shivangi’s journey on the show in immediate danger and set the stage for Harshad’s decisive intervention.
