Tamil film industry veteran filmmaker, producer and actor K. Rajan passed away at the age of 85 on Sunday, prompting an outpouring of grief from political leaders and members of the film fraternity. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay expressed deep sorrow over Rajan’s death, describing him as a veteran personality who made significant contributions as a producer, director, actor and distributor. In an official statement shared via his CMO’s social media handle, he said Rajan’s work and influence in the industry would be remembered for years to come.
