Supermodel Heidi Klum Says ADHD Helps Her Manage Multiple Projects
Heidi Klum calls ADHD her “superpower,” helping her manage multiple projects while embracing life at 52.
Supermodel, TV personality, and “Halloween Queen” Heidi Klum has opened up about living with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), describing it as a driving force behind her multifaceted career. At 52, the mother of four revealed that she considers ADHD a positive attribute that allows her to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
“I have a form of ADHD. I see it as something positive because it allows me to do more things at once. It's my superpower,” Klum said, highlighting how the condition fuels her energy and productivity. The “Germany’s Next Top Model” star explained that her hyperactivity enables her to manage numerous commitments and take on additional projects without feeling overwhelmed.
ADHD, or attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, is a common developmental condition that can make it difficult for individuals to focus, regulate impulses, and control hyperactive behavior. Despite the challenges, Klum frames her experience with the disorder as a strength, using it to maintain momentum across her modeling, television, and business ventures.

Speaking ahead of the 21st season of “Project Runway,” Klum described herself as a “workaholic” and a “control freak,” underscoring her dedication to ensuring the quality and success of the shows she produces. She embraces her intense work ethic as part of her approach to life and creativity.
Reflecting on aging, Klum challenged stereotypes about women in their 50s, insisting that beauty and relevance are not bound by age. “The biggest misconception about being in your 50s is that you are off the shelf. You’re not off the shelf,” she said. “Don’t hide in your 50s. Beauty is ever-changing, and I’m here for the change. If it’s always the same, life is boring.”
Klum’s candid discussion about ADHD and aging emphasizes her philosophy of embracing change, staying active, and leveraging personal challenges as sources of strength—a message that resonates with fans and professionals alike.
