Sinners Had 16 Nominations But One Battle After Another Walked Away With Six Oscars

The 98th Academy Awards concluded at the famous Dolby Theatre with a night full of glamour, performances, and major film wins. The biggest winner of the night was the film One Battle After Another, which dominated the ceremony by winning six Academy Awards. Among its major victories were the prestigious awards for Best Picture and Best Director, making it the standout film of the evening. Its success highlighted strong storytelling and impressive filmmaking that impressed both critics and Academy voters.

Another notable film during the awards season was Sinners, directed by Ryan Coogler. The movie had entered the Oscars as the most nominated film of the year with 16 nominations.
