The family outing comes as Priyanka is currently in Hyderabad for the shooting of SS Rajamouli's much-awaited action-adventure film Varanasi. Her husband Nick and their daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas have also joined her during the India visit, turning the work schedule into a family trip. The couple was recently spotted arriving in India together, with photographers capturing moments from their airport appearance.
Varanasi is among the most anticipated Indian films currently under production and features a star-studded cast including Priyanka, Mahesh and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Directed by SS Rajamouli, the action-adventure drama has generated significant excitement among audiences due to its scale and collaboration of major film personalities. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on April 7, 2027, with production continuing in Hyderabad.
