India’s Studio Blo Teams With Hollywood For First AI-Powered Web Series on Mars Mission

Studio Blo launches the first AI-driven global series on Alyssa Carson, blending sci-fi storytelling and scientific accuracy.

Studio Blo, India’s first dedicated AI-content studio, has unveiled “Alyssa Carson: Ready for Liftoff”, the world’s first fully AI-powered international web series chronicling the life and Mars ambitions of 24-year-old American astrobiologist Alyssa Carson. Announced on Tuesday, the project marks a historic collaboration between the Mumbai-based studio and Hollywood’s Disruptor Studios, co-producing under executive producer Chad Greulach. The series will use generative artificial intelligence to visualise human settlements on the Red Planet across timelines of 10, 50, and 100 years, blending cinematic storytelling with scientific accuracy.

Developed in close consultation with Carson herself—who has trained with NASA since age three and remains on track to become one of the first humans on Mars—and a global team of planetary scientists, the show promises unprecedented depictions of extraterrestrial life. Studio Blo’s proprietary AI tools will create photorealistic Martian landscapes, habitats, and daily routines that traditional VFX budgets would render prohibitively expensive. The partnership positions India at the forefront of AI-driven entertainment, showcasing how generative technology can democratise high-concept science-fiction production.

Studio Blo CEO and co-founder hailed the project as “a testament to what’s possible when technology and imagination unite,” calling it India’s first AI-led international TV collaboration with a Hollywood studio. Greulach, founder of Disruptor Studios, praised the initiative for proving AI is “less of a threat and more of a tool”, enabling scenes that would otherwise be financially unfeasible. The series is expected to challenge Western hesitation toward AI in filmmaking while highlighting Indian technological innovation on the global stage.
