‘Harry Potter’ Star Rupert Grint Becomes a Dad for Second Time

‘Harry Potter’ star Rupert Grint has become a father for the second time.

Grint, who famously joined Instagram in 2020 by posting a photo of himself holding his first daughter Wednesday — setting a record for the fastest account to reach one million followers — shared a brief update about their second child, Georgie, on Sunday.

The 36-year-old actor and his partner, ‘Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging’ star Georgia Groome, were recently spotted strolling through Hampstead, north London, with their newborn bundled in a blanket.

The couple, who already share a four-year-old daughter, Wednesday, have kept their family life mostly private and did not publicly announce they were expecting again. Photos obtained by ‘The Sun’ show Grint and Groome taking turns cradling their newborn, exchanging smiles and kisses during a relaxed family outing.

Dressed in black, the ‘Servant’ actor was seen beaming as he carried the new addition to their family. Georgia, in sunglasses, was spotted planting a kiss on their baby’s forehead, with the little one already showing signs of inheriting their father’s trademark red hair.

While a spokesperson for the couple has yet to comment, fans were thrilled to see the family together.

Grint has spoken openly about how fatherhood has changed him, admitting he’s become a “bit of a hypochondriac” since welcoming Wednesday. “Everything seems dangerous,” he told People magazine, recalling how even owning a delicate ostrich skeleton became stressful with a child and pets around.

He also shared that the first night home with his daughter was "terrifying" and that he struggled with an "identity crisis" about how a father should dress.

Despite the challenges, Grint clearly relishes his role as a dad — now twice over.
