Grammy-nominated Music Producer Brytavious Chambers, widely known as Tay Keith, was found dead in his apartment on Martin Street in Nashville, Tennessee, authorities confirmed on Thursday. The Metro Nashville Police Department said officers discovered the 29-year-old producer's body while conducting a welfare check after receiving a report of an unresponsive man. Police added that no foul play is suspected at this stage of the investigation.
Officials said the exact cause of death has not yet been determined and that the investigation remains ongoing. Authorities are awaiting toxicology and laboratory results before establishing what led to the producer's death. Police have not announced whether a medical emergency, drugs or any other factor contributed to the incident.
The news prompted an outpouring of grief from the music community, including longtime collaborator BlocBoy JB. Sharing his reaction on Instagram Stories, the rapper posted a screenshot of their recent call history and wrote, "We talked every day; you didn't even tell me you were leaving," expressing his heartbreak over the sudden loss of a close friend and creative partner.

Born in Memphis, Tay Keith rose to prominence in the hip-hop industry after producing Drake and BlocBoy JB's 2018 hit Look Alive. He also earned a Grammy nomination for his work on Travis Scott and Drake's chart-topping track Sicko Mode.
Over the years, Tay Keith collaborated with several leading artists, including 21 Savage, Moneybagg Yo, Future and Juicy J. His production credits also include popular tracks such as Jimmy Cooks, Family Matters and Push Ups.
