Avengers: Endgame Encore Sells 7,300 Tickets In 24 Hours In India
Marvel’s re-release records strong early ticket sales in India.
Marvel Studios' Avengers: Endgame Encore is generating strong early interest ahead of its theatrical release in India on September 25. The special re-release of the 2019 blockbuster has sold more than 7,300 tickets on BookMyShow within 24 hours of advance bookings opening, according to the latest update cited from Sacnilk.
The film has also recorded more than 155,000 interests on BookMyShow, indicating significant anticipation despite the re-release arriving more than a week before its scheduled theatrical debut. Avengers: Endgame Encore will be screened in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, giving audiences across multiple language markets an opportunity to revisit the Marvel Cinematic Universe's landmark film on the big screen.
The strong advance response has raised expectations of a double-digit opening for the re-release at the Indian box office. According to the report cited in the source material, the film could earn more than Rs 10 crore net on its opening day. If that projection materialises, Avengers: Endgame Encore would set a new record for the biggest opening by a re-released film in India.

Avengers: Endgame Encore is a limited theatrical re-release of the 2019 film, which earned more than $2.7 billion worldwide and over Rs 400 crore in India. The new theatrical version includes around four minutes of additional footage, a new post-credits scene and an exclusive preview of Avengers: Doomsday, giving fans additional material beyond the original release.
Avengers: Doomsday is being directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and is expected to bring together characters from different parts of the Marvel universe. The film is scheduled for release on December 18 and will feature Robert Downey Jr. as Victor Von Doom. Promotional material has also teased major characters including Chris Hemsworth's Thor and Vanessa Kirby's Sue Storm.
The upcoming Marvel film is expected to explore a major multiverse conflict involving characters from Earth-616, Earth-828 and other universes. The story is reportedly set 14 months after the events of Thunderbolts, with heroes from different realities facing a threat capable of endangering the multiverse. The exclusive preview attached to Avengers: Endgame Encore is therefore expected to add to audience interest in the re-release.
