Asim Riaz Publicly Criticises Actors Hina Khan And Rubina Dilaik In Recent Post

Actor and reality television personality Asim Riaz has hit back at fellow television actors Rubina Dilaik and Hina Khan after the pair discussed him during an episode of their podcast, The4POV, and referred to his impact on reality shows as "nuisance value." The comments were made along with the actors' respective husbands, Abhinav Shukla and Rocky Jaiswal, prompting a public response from Riaz. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, Riaz shared a pointed message aimed at the television personalities without naming them directly, referring to them instead as industry "aunties and uncles."

In his post, he wrote that he had seen another clip from a podcast in which they were discussing how he brings TRP, or television rating points, to every reality show he participates in, asserting emphatically that he does indeed do so. He went on to wish them well in their careers while urging them to continue "playing your roles and being puppets in the industry," a remark widely interpreted as a dig at what he views as scripted or industry-conforming behavior among his peers. The exchange stems from an episode of Rubina and Abhinav's podcast, in which they, along with Hina and Rocky, discussed the culture of publicity, controversies, and the role contestants play in making reality shows popular.

During the conversation, Dilaik questioned Riaz's claims that his presence was responsible for the popularity or TRPs of shows including Bigg Boss, Khatron Ke Khiladi, and Battleground, dismissing the notion that any single contestant could be credited with a show's success. She specifically referred to Riaz as "a nuisance value only" and questioned where his career currently stands, comments that have since reignited discussion around his history of controversies on reality television. Khan was also part of the conversation and was reported to have agreed with Dilaik's assessment of Riaz's claims. The latest dispute adds to a string of controversies surrounding Riaz's reality television career in recent years, several of which have directly involved Dilaik.

Following his appearance on Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, Riaz was reportedly ousted from the show Playground after a heated altercation with Dilaik and fellow contestant Abhishek Malhan, with reports indicating he walked off the set before the episode concluded without him. His earlier exit from Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 also followed a heated confrontation involving host Rohit Shetty and other contestants after he failed to complete a stunt during filming. 

Riaz, who first rose to prominence as a contestant on Bigg Boss 13, has frequently found himself at the center of social media controversies following his various reality show appearances, often responding publicly to criticism through social media posts directed at fellow contestants, hosts, or media coverage of his conduct.

His latest remarks toward Dilaik and Khan appear to follow this established pattern, reigniting a public back-and-forth that has persisted across multiple reality television seasons and media cycles. As of now, neither Dilaik nor Khan has issued a direct public response to Riaz's latest remarks, though the exchange has already drawn significant attention on social media, with the controversy continuing to link back to his contentious stint on Battleground and the broader history of friction between Riaz and several of his television industry peers.
