Ariana Grande To Take Break From Public Appearances Amid Scrutiny

Ariana Grande takes break amid intense public scrutiny.

Pop star and actor Ariana Grande has announced plans to step away from public appearances after completing her ongoing Eternal Sunshine Tour, citing the intense and continuous scrutiny that comes with being in the spotlight. The decision comes as the singer prepares to conclude her first concert tour in seven years and focus on taking a break from public-facing work.

Ariana’s representative confirmed that the singer will take time away from visibility once the tour concludes. The representative said Ariana is looking forward to completing the tour on a positive note while prioritising her health and happiness after years of constant public attention. The statement added that the tour has been a meaningful experience for her and that she deeply appreciates the support of her fans.

The singer has also withdrawn from Stephen Sondheim’s West End revival of “Sunday in the Park With George”, where she was scheduled to appear alongside “Bridgerton” actor Jonathan Bailey. The production change comes as Ariana prepares for a period away from major public commitments following a busy phase that included music, film and stage projects.

Ariana, who first gained recognition as a child actor through shows such as “Victorious” and “Sam & Cat”, has expanded her career across music and cinema. Her recent success includes the two-part “Wicked” film series, which explores the origins of the witches from “The Wizard of Oz”. Her return to live performances through the Eternal Sunshine Tour marked a major moment in her music career after a seven-year gap from touring.

The announcement comes amid renewed public discussion about Ariana’s appearance, particularly following the release of a music video from her latest album “Petal”, where some fans expressed concern about her health and physical changes. Ariana has previously spoken against body-shaming comments, describing such remarks as harmful.

The Eternal Sunshine Tour was launched ahead of the release of her album “Petal”, which arrived on July 31. Ariana’s decision to take a break reflects her desire to step away from constant public attention while concluding a significant chapter in her professional journey.
