Alaina shared the joyful news on Instagram, posting the first photographs of her newborn daughter alongside her husband, Matt Moeller. In her announcement, she described her baby as “my heart outside my body,” expressing deep emotion and happiness at becoming a mother for the first time.
The couple also revealed the significance behind the baby’s name. Alaina explained that “Scottie” was chosen as a tribute to the “Scott sisters” in her family, highlighting the personal and emotional connection to her heritage. She added that she hopes her daughter will grow up to give the name her own meaning while always feeling deeply loved by her parents and extended family.
