Sunita Ahuja Reveals Woman in Govinda’s Life Wants Only His Money

Sunita Ahuja has broken her silence yet again on the long-rumoured controversy surrounding her husband, actor Govinda. In a recent interaction with ETimes, Sunita candidly spoke about the emotional toll the allegations have taken on her. She described 2025 as a “terrible year,” saying she has repeatedly heard claims about Govinda being involved with another woman.

Clarifying earlier speculation, Sunita stated that the woman in question is not a Marathi actress, contrary to previous rumours. She added that she firmly believes actresses would not engage in such behaviour. According to Sunita, the woman allegedly involved does not love Govinda and is only interested in his money, making the situation even more painful for her.

Expressing hope for the future, Sunita said she wants to turn her life around in 2026. She urged Govinda to put an end to all controversies and focus on rebuilding a happy family. Emphasising traditional values, she stated that a man’s life should revolve around three women—his mother, wife, and daughter—and that there is no place for a “fourth woman.”

Sunita also advised Govinda to distance himself from people she described as “chamchas,” alleging that many of those around him are motivated purely by money. She stressed that he should refocus on his career and personal responsibilities, particularly his children’s futures, instead of getting distracted by unnecessary influences.

Earlier, during a podcast with Paras S. Chhabra, Sunita had admitted that she had heard rumours of Govinda’s alleged affair but maintained she would not believe anything without concrete proof. She stated that until she sees the truth with her own eyes, she would not accuse her husband. However, she made it clear that she would always speak honestly and not hide facts from the public.

Govinda and Sunita Ahuja, married since 1987, have been surrounded by divorce rumours for months, though the couple has publicly dismissed claims of a separation. Despite reports of a separation notice and recent personal challenges, including Govinda’s brief hospitalisation, Sunita has repeatedly asserted that no force can separate her from her husband, keeping public curiosity around their relationship alive.
