Salman Khan Removes His Own Rudraksha Chain and Gifts It to Battle of Galwan Writer

Writer Cchintan Shaah shares emotional story of Salman Khan gifting him his personal Rudraksha gold chain.

Salman Khan’s birthday celebrations this year coincided with the teaser release of his upcoming film Battle of Galwan, but it was an emotional revelation by dialogue writer Cchintan Shaah that truly captured public attention. In a moving social media post, Shaah shared an intimate moment that reflected the actor’s warmth, generosity, and lasting impact on his life.

Describing the note as a “late post from the heart,” Shaah recalled his very first meeting with Salman Khan. Nervous and unaware, he had turned up wearing two different coloured shoes. Salman noticed, laughed, but more importantly, remembered his name—a small gesture that left a lasting impression and marked the beginning of a profound bond.

Shaah explained that what followed went far beyond a professional association. He gradually realised that Salman treated him with exceptional affection and trust, something others often pointed out in hushed tones. Over time, Shaah understood the depth of this connection and the meaning of being truly valued.

The most emotional moment recounted was when Salman, without any occasion or announcement, removed his own Rudraksha gold chain and placed it around Shaah’s neck, simply saying, “I love you.” Shaah described the gesture as one that broke and healed him at the same time, symbolising unconditional trust and acceptance.

He also shared how Salman welcomed him into his personal space, not as a guest but as family. From sharing meals at Galaxy with Salim Khan and other family members to long conversations across film sets and travel locations, Shaah said Salman always made him feel that he belonged, never as an outsider.

Cchintan Shaah is currently working as the story, screenplay, and dialogue writer for Battle of Galwan, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, and also serves as the director’s assistant. The film, based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash, features Salman Khan as an Indian Army officer in a restrained and intense role, with Chitrangda Singh as the female lead and music composed by Himesh Reshammiya.
