Ranveer Singh was Injured During Dhurandhar 2 Shoot, Co-Star Recalls On-Set Incident

Actor Ranveer Singh is winning praise not just for the success of Dhurandhar 2, but also for his calm and compassionate reaction after an on-set accident, as revealed by co-star Gursewak Singh. Sharing the incident on social media, Gursewak recalled how the accident took place during the filming of an intense action sequence at Amritsar’s Plane House.
The scene required precise timing, but a slight delay led to a high-impact collision between the two actors. “His gun hit my stomach and my gun hose hit his elbow,” Gursewak said, describing the moment of impact. The collision left Gursewak briefly unconscious and injured, while Ranveer Singh also suffered an elbow injury. The crew rushed in to assist, and director Aditya Dhar ensured immediate medical attention.

What stood out most, however, was Ranveer’s response. Despite being hurt himself, he reportedly prioritised his co-actor’s well-being. Gursewak shared that Ranveer personally came to check on him, comforted him when he apologised, and reassured him that the accident was not his fault. The actor even gave him a hug and asked whether he wanted to continue shooting or take a break.
Remarkably, Ranveer chose to continue filming despite his own injury, downplaying it as minor. According to Gursewak, the shoot went on for another 35 days, during which Ranveer never made him feel guilty about the mishap.
The heartfelt account has resonated with fans, adding to the actor’s reputation for professionalism and humility. Meanwhile, Dhurandhar 2, directed by Aditya Dhar, continues its strong box office run, crossing major milestones both in India and globally.
