Days after being granted interim bail in a ₹9 crore cheque bounce case, Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav walked out of Tihar Jail on February 17 and returned to his hometown in Uttar Pradesh with his wife, Radha Yadav. The 54-year-old actor, who has faced a prolonged legal battle, emphasized that the matter is far from resolved, and they are approaching it cautiously, “one step at a time.”
Reflecting on his time behind bars, Rajpal shared that being away from family was the most difficult part. “I accepted the routine and focused on breathing exercises and maintaining mental balance,” he said, highlighting the importance of discipline and mental resilience during his incarceration. Radha added that the couple explored all legal options with patience and respect, noting that resolution often depends on timing as much as willingness.
The actor expressed gratitude for being able to celebrate his niece’s wedding shortly after release. “Being around loved ones in that moment meant a great deal after a difficult phase,” he said, emphasizing how family support helped him navigate the challenging period. He also thanked colleagues, well-wishers, and fans who supported him quietly and publicly throughout the ordeal.

The actor admitted that the case has temporarily disrupted his shooting schedules but assured fans that he intends to return to work gradually. “Work schedules may fluctuate temporarily, but I will resume acting responsibly. Acting has been my life for many years, and I remain committed to it,” he added, signaling his determination to balance career and personal life moving forward.
Radha Yadav concluded by acknowledging the support they received from friends, family, and industry colleagues. “Every gesture, public or private, has been a source of strength. Support, when it comes, is received with gratitude,” she said, highlighting the role of faith, patience, and community during testing times.
