Karisma’s Heartfelt Post For Kareena’s Birthday Melts The Internet

Karisma’s touching birthday tribute to Kareena steals the spotlight.

Bollywood icon Kareena Kapoor celebrated her birthday with a flood of love, led by a heartfelt message from her sister, Karisma Kapoor. Sharing a charming photo of the duo on social media, Karisma wrote, “Best sister, Best friends and Beyond..Happy birthday to my most precious sister.. Love you mostest.”

The post drew an outpouring of affection from fans, family, and celebrities, including heart emojis from Saba Pataudi, Riddhima Kapoor, and Bhumi Pednekar. Her next venture, Daayra, directed by Meghna Gulzar and co-starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, has already generated buzz. Announced in April, the film promises a bold, reflective narrative. Kareena shared her excitement on Instagram, saying, “I’m a director’s actor... and this time I cannot wait to work with one of the finest directors we have, @meghnagulzar and alongside the magnificent @therealprithvi, whose work I deeply admire.”

In a press note, Kareena added, “As I celebrate 25 incredible years in Hindi cinema, I’m thrilled to announce Daayra with the incredible Meghna Gulzar. Her work, from Talvar to Raazi, has always inspired me, and to be directed by her is a dream come true. Collaborating with Prithviraj is a highlight, and the film’s thought-provoking story drew me in.” Meghna described Daayra as “a story that compels you to reflect on the society we live in and its institutions.”
