Dhurandhar Hits ₹1207 Crore Globally, Outpaces KGF 2 in 31 Days

Ranveer Singh blockbuster crosses massive global milestone.

Aditya Dhar's spy thriller Dhurandhar achieved a remarkable feat on January 5, 2026, surpassing the ₹1200 crore gross mark worldwide in just 31 days since its December 5, 2025 release. This accomplishment positions the film as only the sixth Indian production to enter this elite club, elevating it to the fifth highest-grossing Indian movie of all time.

The Ranveer Singh-starrer demonstrated strong resilience during its fifth weekend, adding substantial earnings to push domestic net collections to ₹772.25 crore (₹926.7 crore gross). Despite anticipated declines on weekdays amid competition, Dhurandhar maintained dominance at the Indian box office, outperforming new releases including Avatar: Fire and Ash, Ikkis, and Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri.

Internationally, the film amassed approximately $31 million (over ₹260 crore gross), a notable performance considering its absence from Middle Eastern markets due to regional restrictions, which reportedly cost an estimated $10 million in potential revenue. The global total now stands at ₹1207 crore gross, solidifying its trajectory toward even higher benchmarks.

On its 31st day, Dhurandhar eclipsed the lifetime worldwide gross of Yash's 2022 blockbuster KGF: Chapter 2, which concluded at around ₹1200 crore. The film now trails closely behind S.S. Rajamouli's RRR (₹1230 crore) in the all-time rankings, continuing its record-breaking momentum.

Led by Ranveer Singh in the role of undercover operative Hamza infiltrating Karachi's criminal and terror networks, Dhurandhar features a powerhouse ensemble including Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and R. Madhavan. The high-octane thriller has captivated audiences with its intense narrative and action sequences, with a sequel scheduled for release in March 2026.
