Dhurandhar 2: Ranveer Singh Starrer Crosses Rs 1,000 Crore in Just 18 Days
Dhurandhar 2 becomes the first Hindi film to cross Rs 1,000 crore domestically.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge has created box office history by crossing the ₹1,000 crore mark in India, becoming the first Hindi film to achieve this milestone domestically. Headlined by Ranveer Singh, the film has continued its strong theatrical run into the third week, defying the typical slowdown seen after initial release. The film’s remarkable performance has positioned it as one of the biggest blockbusters in Indian cinema history.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the action-packed sequel has maintained consistent audience interest since its release on March 19. According to trade estimates, the film surpassed ₹1,000 crore within just 18 days, underlining its widespread appeal and repeat-viewing factor. Its steady growth, even in later weeks, reflects strong word-of-mouth and sustained demand across urban and mass circuits.
On its third Sunday, the film earned ₹28.75 crore net, marking a 12.1 percent increase over the previous day’s ₹25.65 crore collection. With this, the total domestic net collection now stands at ₹1,013.77 crore. The film features a multi-star cast, including Rakesh Bedi, Sanjay Dutt, and Arjun Rampal, all of whom have contributed to its wide appeal across audiences.

Globally, the film has also delivered exceptional numbers, with total earnings reaching ₹1,605.74 crore. Of this, India's gross collections account for ₹1,213.74 crore, while overseas markets have contributed ₹392 crore. The film’s international success highlights its crossover appeal and the growing global footprint of Hindi cinema in key markets.
The film serves as a sequel to the 2025 release and continues the high-stakes narrative from its predecessor. It follows the story of Hamza Ali Mazari, an Indian spy operating under a false identity, who rises as a powerful figure while tackling national security threats. The gripping storyline, combined with large-scale action sequences, has played a significant role in attracting audiences to theatres.
With its record-breaking run, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has set a new benchmark for future Bollywood releases. Its ability to sustain collections well into the third week indicates strong audience engagement and cinematic appeal. As the film continues its theatrical journey, it is expected to further extend its record tally and solidify its place among the highest-grossing Indian films of all time.
