Dhurandhar 2 Earns Rs 1,088 Crore Net in India, Franchise Crosses Rs 3,000 Crore Worldwide
Dhurandhar 2 surpasses Rs 1,700 crore globally, with Pushpa 2's record within striking distance.
Dhurandhar 2, starring Ranveer Singh, continues its remarkable box office run, crossing ₹1,700 crore worldwide and inching closer to surpassing Pushpa 2. On Day 26, the film’s total India gross reached ₹1,303.37 crore, with the net domestic collection standing at ₹1,088.62 crore, cementing its position among the highest-grossing Indian films.
Despite entering its fourth week, the film has maintained strong momentum, although signs of slowdown have begun to emerge. On its fourth Monday, the film witnessed a sharp 64.1% drop in collections, earning ₹5.20 crore across more than 10,000 shows nationwide. However, this decline is seen as typical for a film that has already enjoyed an extended period of box office dominance.
Over the fourth weekend alone, the film added more than ₹35 crore to its India tally, reflecting sustained audience interest. Trade analysts attribute this consistency to limited competition at the box office, with no major Hindi releases challenging its dominance. Even regional releases like Dacoit failed to significantly impact its performance, allowing the film to maintain a strong theatrical presence.

The coming days, however, could test the film’s endurance as Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan’s upcoming film Bhooth Bangla is set to release on April 16. Given the duo’s track record of successful comedies, industry observers believe the new release could pose a competitive challenge and potentially affect Dhurandhar 2’s collections.
Globally, the film’s performance has been equally impressive, with earnings comfortably crossing ₹1,700 crore. The success has also propelled the overall Dhurandhar franchise past the ₹3,000 crore mark worldwide, underscoring its massive popularity and commercial appeal across markets.
Industry voices have also weighed in on the film’s success, with filmmaker Kunal Kohli noting that the film thrived despite limited backing from within the industry. As it approaches the one-month milestone, Dhurandhar 2 remains a dominant force at the box office, with its final lifetime collection likely to set new benchmarks in Indian cinema.
