Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra, aged 89, has been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, sparking a wave of concern after several reports falsely claimed he was on ventilator support. However, sources close to the Deol family have categorically dismissed these rumours, confirming that the actor is stable and recuperating under medical supervision.
A source close to Dharmendra’s son, actor Sunny Deol, clarified that there is no truth to claims about critical health concerns. According to the source quoted by the Indian Express, the reports are baseless and misleading. The family confirmed that Sunny Deol visited his father earlier in the morning and returned home soon after, indicating that Dharmendra’s condition remains stable.
Dharmendra, who had been hospitalised over a week ago, was reportedly readmitted for observation. His previous visit on October 31 was for a routine check-up, during which his wife, actress Hema Malini, assured fans and the media that he was doing well. Family insiders reiterated that the current hospital stay is precautionary, part of his regular health monitoring, and there is no cause for alarm.
