Akshay Kumar Seeks Lord Shiva's Blessings With Dimple Kapadia Before 'Bhooth Bangla' Release
Akshay Kumar and Dimple Kapadia offered prayers at Mahakaleshwar Temple ahead of Bhooth Bangla.
Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar visited the sacred Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple along with veteran actress Dimple Kapadia to seek blessings ahead of the release of his upcoming film Bhooth Bangla. Videos circulating online show the actor dressed in a traditional white outfit, while Dimple Kapadia was seen in a pink saree.
The duo performed rituals at the temple, including offering water during a sacred prayer ceremony. In one of the clips, Akshay Kumar is seen bowing before the idol of Nandi and quietly offering his prayers.
The visit comes just days before the theatrical release of Bhooth Bangla, a horror-comedy directed by Priyadarshan, scheduled to be released on April 10. The film features a strong ensemble cast including Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Jisshu Sengupta.

Akshay Kumar shares a close relationship with Dimple Kapadia, who is also his mother-in-law. In a past interaction, she had spoken about her initial hesitation regarding his marriage to her daughter Twinkle Khanna. Over time, however, she came to appreciate his discipline, humility, and ability to connect with people, describing him as someone who brings positivity to those around him.
Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna, who got married in 2001, are parents to two children. Known for following a spiritual routine, the actor often visits temples and places of worship before the release of his films. This visit to Mahakaleshwar Temple continues that tradition as he prepares for another major release.
