Akshay Kumar Confirms Son Aarav Has No Interest In Joining Bollywood
Akshay Kumar says son Aarav works ₹4,500 job, studying fashion and avoiding films.
Bollywood Actor Akshay Kumar has shared rare personal insights about his son Aarav, revealing that the young star kid has no interest in entering the film industry and is instead pursuing a career in fashion, far removed from the Bollywood spotlight.
Speaking in an interview with Shubhankar Mishra, Akshay said his son Aarav is focused on building his own identity rather than following his father’s path into cinema. The actor explained that Aarav is deeply interested in health and fashion, and is committed to learning the craft from the ground up.
Akshay revealed that Aarav is currently engaged in hands-on learning experiences, including working in small roles and studying traditional techniques. He said his son travels to villages to understand textiles, prints, and design methods directly from artisans, describing it as a grounded and practical approach to fashion education.

In a candid remark, Akshay said, “Voh bechara aaj bhi Rs 4500 ki naukri kar raha hai,” adding that he supports his son’s decision to start small and gain real-world experience. He emphasized that Aarav is not interested in shortcuts or leveraging his family background, but prefers to build his own career path independently.
The actor also reflected on his parenting style, saying he avoids giving lectures or imposing expectations on his children. Instead, he encourages them to live responsibly and respectfully. His only guiding principle, he said, is that his children should not harm or hurt others, and beyond that, they should take charge of their own lives.
Aarav, born in 2002 to Akshay and Twinkle, has largely stayed away from the public eye. He moved abroad at the age of 15 for higher studies and is currently enrolled at a university in London. Unlike many celebrity children, he maintains a low-profile lifestyle and avoids media attention.
Meanwhile, Akshay continues his active film career with recent and upcoming releases, including the horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla. He will next appear in Welcome To The Jungle, an ensemble film scheduled for theatrical release on June 26, featuring a large star cast from the Indian film industry.
