Actor Ram Kapoor Plans Dubai Return Despite West Asia Tensions

Ram Kapoor to return to Dubai despite ongoing regional tensions.

Bollywood actor Ram Kapoor is set to return to his Dubai residence in the Burj Khalifa on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, despite escalating tensions from the ongoing US-Israel-Iran conflict gripping the Middle East.Kapoor, who owns a home in the iconic Burj Khalifa, had visited Dubai with his wife Gautami Kapoor about two weeks ago but cut the trip short as regional security deteriorated. Speaking to The Times of India, he emphasized the urgency of pending renovation work at the property, which has stalled due to the crisis. "I cannot delay any further," Kapoor stated, noting fixed timelines for the project that required necessary permissions.

The actor plans to travel solo this time, leaving Gautami in Mumbai, and expects to stay for a couple of weeks to oversee completion. He expressed calm amid the uncertainty, praising Dubai's organization and safety measures: "People I know in Dubai are continuing with their lives as much as possible. It's not an ideal situation, but I am not panicking."

The conflict intensified after a US-Israel joint missile strike on Iran in late February 2026, reportedly killing Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, prompting Iranian retaliatory attacks on US bases and Israeli targets across the Middle East. Explosions rocked Gulf cities including Dubai, where blasts near Palm Jumeirah's Fairmont The Palm raised alarms, alongside airspace closures and tourist evacuations.
