Skoda Slavia Gets First Facelift in Three Years With Key Upgrades
Skoda Slavia facelift adds new features, trim and design updates.
The Skoda Slavia has received its first facelift since entering the Indian market, bringing a series of exterior and interior updates along with a new trim level. The refreshed midsize sedan retains its familiar proportions and engine options while gaining additional equipment and a new 8-speed automatic transmission for the 1.0-litre TSI variant. The update comes as the Slavia continues to compete in the midsize sedan segment.
At the front, the facelifted Slavia gets a redesigned bumper with a chrome-finished trim strip and compact LED fog lamps. The grille retains its overall shape but now features black bars instead of the earlier chrome surround. The headlamp housing remains unchanged, although its internal elements and daytime running light signatures have been revised. The side profile remains largely identical, while newly designed 16-inch two-tone alloy wheels add a visual update.
The rear section also receives subtle changes, with revised LED elements inside the existing tail-lamp housings. The boot lid now features plastic trim carrying Skoda lettering, while two new exterior colours, Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Beige, have been added to the range. The overall design continues to follow the earlier Slavia's proportions, with the facelift focusing mainly on detailing rather than a major redesign.

Inside, the sedan gets several upgrades aimed at improving comfort and technology. The dashboard now features a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, up from the earlier 8-inch unit, while the 10.1-inch infotainment system gains an AI assistant powered by Google Cloud and integrates with a new 360-degree camera. The seats are finished in fully beige leatherette with a revised pattern, while rear outer seats now offer a massage function.
Several existing features continue to be available, including ventilated front seats, a cooled glove box, electric sunroof, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, LED ambient lighting and six airbags. Electronic stability control, hill-hold assist and tyre-pressure monitoring are also retained. The facelift therefore focuses on adding convenience and technology while preserving much of the equipment offered by the previous model.
The engine lineup remains unchanged, with the 1.0-litre TSI producing 115 hp and 178 Nm and now available with a 6-speed manual or a new 8-speed torque-converter automatic transmission. The 1.5-litre TSI continues to produce 150 hp and 250 Nm and is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Alongside the existing Classic, Signature, Sportline, Prestige and Monte Carlo variants, Skoda has introduced a new Classic+ trim positioned between the Classic and Signature versions. The updated Slavia continues to rival the Volkswagen Virtus, Honda City and Hyundai Verna.
